Management and Wardens at Kilcully

Behind every camp, competition and gathering at Kilcully was a team of people who kept the campsite running.

This photograph from 1988 shows members of the Kilcully management team and campsite wardens. Wardens played an important role in welcoming groups to Kilcully and helping ensure that the campsite and its facilities were ready for the many Scouts who visited throughout the year.

Much of Kilcully’s development and day-to-day operation has depended on people giving their time voluntarily. This photograph provides a record of some of those who helped look after the campsite during the 1980s.
