Kilcully in Scouting hands

A press launch was held in March 1970 to introduce plans for the new Kilcully Campsite and build support for its development. The display behind the speakers carries the words “Kilcully Campsite — Investment in Youth”, alongside plans for the site.

During the launch, a cheque for £1,000 was presented towards the development of Kilcully — a significant contribution at the beginning of the campsite’s story.
